PD10 Field Notes
The transcript was long, chaotic, and useful. These are the parts we intentionally expanded.
1) Why the first non-negotiable stays first
- The Bible is treated as wholly authoritative, infallible, and never ornamental.
- Literal where literal was repeatedly defended around Genesis and Jonah.
- If Christ's use of Scripture is false, Gospel confidence unravels.
2) Interpretation method we committed to on-air
- Grammatical: words, tense, and context matter.
- Historical: real people, real events, real covenant timeline.
- Eschatological: promises move toward fulfillment in Christ and final restoration.
3) What we said listeners should experience
- First-time: honesty, wonder, curiosity, and hope.
- Long-term: real Christian walk, all-encompassing truth, and durable obedience.
- Ongoing tension: some truths are not easily handled, but still good.
4) Format and chemistry clarifications
- Ideal runtime remains 1h30m to 4h.
- Segment spine stays fixed, while some blocks stay intentionally improvised.
- Preparation ratio remains 10% prep and 90% off-the-cuff.
5) Audience + feedback protocol
- Submit via website first whenever possible.
- Half-Breed episodes are primary response lanes for listener feedback.
- Constructive criticism can trigger constitution amendments.
6) Humor guardrail we reaffirmed
Humor is a tone choice, not legal standing.
If we drift from mission, call us out.
